I have a book I like to write my poems in, so I decided to write some of them here too and see if anyone likes them :D! I'll put the titles above each one underlined :3.
Wind-Up Doll (Not a Haiku)
I'm a wind-up doll
When I'm alone, I sit
And wait for someone to wind me up
Tear Duct Heart
From the crack in my heart
Out fell a tear
It cried in fear
How did it get here?
It turned around to see the heart
a slit down the side
Like the ducts in my eyes.
The blood flowed out,
like tears when I cry.
Your heartlessness itself
being the reason why.
Sprinting
I like to run, but sprinting is hard.
It goes from a sprint, to a run, to a jog
But this is the way of life.
Some people say sprinting is easy
Others face difficulty
Some people run an obstacle course,
filled with hurdles, cones, and spikes
Others finish slow, enjoying the air and skies
Some have to carry weights, some leave, some stay
And those who tripped half way
Break a leg, and never run another day
But that is the way of life
. . .
Oh how I hate sprinting
But when I get to jog, I'll find happiness

Those are only three of the ones I've wrote. Others still remain unwritten. I hope you enjoyed the poems and feel free to critic my work :D! Bye bye!
