small bit of yapping about twd comics

spoilers for some parts of both show and comics

oooooooooo they miiiight be better than the show. i adore the show -- seasons 1-6 especially, dont talk to me about 10-11 it's too painful to think about -- but omg the comics are so fucking sick. there's quite a bit of brutality that couldn't be shown in the show since like censorship n all that, but the insanity of some of the characters adds to the evilness so much. like the governor, oh my gosh he was awful in the show, but he was fucking obscene in the comics. 

i looooveee how much profanity negan uses in the comics, he already has quite a mouth on him in the show but he goes all out in the comics, and its funny asf. i loooooooovvvveeeee carl, i loved his character as well in the show, but obviously amc was a stupid bitch and killed him off. i havent finished the comics so im not sure if he dies, but he lived past the point he did in the show. he's such a bad ass character, and such a good way to gauge how far from civilization the group has strayed from. the entire thing where he became an apathetic asshole, when it actuality he was just a kid who needed to stop all of his feelings to survive. i think it's both a sad story to see play out, and also fucking sick because he becomes such a cool character. i also like when he owns up to the fact that he was apethetic, he doesnt outright say it, but little things here and there show that he does try to make sure those around him know it's ok to show and feel emotions. i think he's a very important character aside from just being ricks offspring.
