I almost drowned today

So me and my family+ the little cousins went to the beach this afternoon and my sister, my dad, and I were in the water. At first it was fine but the I realized that we were getting pulled out a lot. I told dad and we started to go a little closer to shore. We stayed there but then we got pulled really far and we decided to try and get out. We were doing our best to get out but we just kept getting pulled in and pummeled by the waves. It took us like 5 minutes to get back to shower when it took us 30 seconds to get in. But we made it and we’re all still alive🎀
