Where to buy affordable lolita

A lot of people want to start out with wearing lolita fashion, but can’t afford high-end and expensive brands. Don’t worry, I totally understand and relate to that, so I made this list of affordable brands and places to buy lolita from.

1. Bodyline

Bodyline is known for its simple and affordable dresses. Some pros are that bodyline’s prices can go as low as $30 dollars (usd) and they have simple, cute designs. Unfortunately, with cheaper fashion, there will be cons like bad materials or ugly clothes, but that isn’t always the case, so bodyline is a great place to go as a lolita on a budget, as long as youre careful.

2. Second-hand stores

Places like LaceMarket, Wunderwelt, Closetchild, and Alicetokyo are excellent places to find affordable second-hand dresses and accessories. Of course, you may have to stitch up some things here or clean up stains there every once in a while, but that’s just a given when it comes to thrifting. 

3. Taobao 

Taobao is a Chinese marketplace website, so it may be harder to navigate than these other places. I recommend checking the lolita subreddit to help you figure out how to use it.
