formatting blogs

not many people format their blogs so i will teach you how to format a blog and how to debug your formatted blogs.

1. copy your about me code (assuming you already have a profile format) (or you can use a different layout for your blogs than your profile) (just copy the html code you want your blog to have)

2. make a new blog

3. select the blue angled brackets to go into the workspace

4. when it turns into an eye, paste in your code

5. click the eye

6. your blog is formatted

one bug that occurs when using this method is that when you delete your about me information (the plain text, not the code) to make room for your blog, it deletes a bunch of other code too. when i tried this, it deleted the audio code, because i keep it at the beginning. because the text isn't separated from the code, deleting it in the workspace deletes a portion of code too

to fix this, either, omit the plain text from the rest of your code when copy pasting or delete it in html mode before starting to type.

the same bug repeats with new text you put into the workspace, even when you start with no plain text

to fix that, simply go back to html mode (with the eye in the corner) and write <p> </p>

between that code, put in any text and it will completely solve the issue, even if you start new lines or delete the whole thing, it will stay in the <p> </p> code

sometimes, when you start typing in the workspace after formatting your blog, it will show your text in arial instead of times new roman. when you have a custom font, your text is meant to show up as times new roman in the workspace, and then be displayed as the custom font in the posted blog. when it shows up as arial in the workspace, the font won't show in the posted blog. if you're experiencing that issue, then the <p> </p> code will also fix that.

one issue i don't know the solution to, though, is when the text changes sizes. all i do to fix that is copy the text and paste it in another space, then paste it back into my blog unformatted. or, you can just paste and match style if it's an option on your device.
