so there's that one character I forgot, could've been the main yellow haired guy idk, wait this is gonna take ages so I'll just shorten it
basically he said something along the lines of "the more true you are to yourself when presenting yourself, the more the hate hurts" it was definitely not worded like this but it had the same meaning
