The Promise Ring!!!! One of the most influential bands from the midwest/second-wave emo scene! I recommend 30° Everywhere since it’s their rawest album & my favourite.

well since u like ska, heres a couple ska/punk fusion songs i like! these are some pretty popular bands, so if you end up liking them i have some less mainstream recs :) ||| all my best friends are metalheads, less than jake ;;; date r4pe, sublime ;;; sell out, reel big fish ;;; time bomb, rancid ;;; sound system, operation ivy (personal fav)
ty!! tbh i already know most of these songs. I love sublime and reel big fish (I bought a shirt of them recently), though I'm not really into less than jake because i'm not a big fan of the vocals. Also the operation ivy song made me feel like a poser because i've only listened to buck-o-nines cover of that song I'm so down to talk about more obscure bands though!!

I'm a big fan of third wave ska, though i also like punk, rock, goth, and a little metal! though honestly I'm down to listen to anything new!!
