looking up

it's been a minute. there's a plethora of new things in my life, small and large. i'd say that the biggest change is that i (finally) have a good pc. i've been waiting for years and it still feels surreal to sit down at the end of a long shift and have my alone time feel effortless and smooth. feels like i'm seeing color for the first time. i also splurged and got myself vr, too. i've been having a lot of fun revisiting worlds i already had on my desktop in full vr. the proportions feel totally different; one feels like playing a video game and one feels like standing in a foreign room. i've also started dabbling in trying thc edibles. they really help me take the edge off and relax at the end of a stressful day, and some of my favorite recent memories were made while i was high and just laughing at stupid shit, 10/10 would recommend. 

this is all to say, things are looking pretty decent right now. i find myself excited to go home and looking forward to the future. i'm happy to be alive.
