Honestly

I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm not exactly here for old internet? Just hear me out before forming an opinion on this wee post

One chunk of the people on here are here because "omg scene kidz used myspace and now i get to be a Real scemo in the 2000s !! xd" with like uhh all the customization n stuff which is fun yeah sure you go ahead and do that.

But then the other chunk is complaining about that chunk of people because the old web they want has all the dark humor and everything, back when everything wasn't so censored or when people didn't get bothered as easily which also makes sense, same

But,,, both of them talk a lot about "old web aaa we're all here because we want old web" which ALSO makes sense, obviously, it's literally an old web revival site. 

However the reason I started using Spacehey is to have something to use other than, say, reddit, twitter, tumblr, whatever other websites, and yeah I do wish that other sites weren't so corporate and I hate the "walking on eggshells" feeling. I even used quotev for a while before using spacehey and it was HELL you literally had to contain so much or else someone would stretch what you're saying, make a callout, and suddenly everyone is on your arse and you can't use the site in peace. but then the mods got rid of the activities feature and everyone got pissed and left. i think that was a good thing because that place sucked. But that's not really the point

Anyway I'm just here to be somewhere other than pretty much any other site and my assumption is that that's the case with a lot of other people too? It's very hard to explain but I know I can't be the only one. Anyone else??
