will i ever let go? no, no i won't.

it's been two years since i've read 'the picture of dorian gray' (oscar wilde), one since i read 'the stranger' (albert camus), and i'm still recommending them; prepare to be sickkkk of me. the ideology of 'the stranger' wasn't an entirely new concept to me, but i'd just never read about it in detail like that, never seen the way someone like that could navigate through daily life. i don't know. now that i think about it, i'm not sure his ideology is completely to blame for his behavior. absurdism doesn't equal a lack of morality. i guess it depends on how people gain their morals, if they look to a higher being to find right from wrong, then i guess a person like that could live a similar lifestyle to that presented in 'the stranger' if they converted to absurdism. how do you navigate right from wrong? i personally look to see how each choice effects those around me, but that could be a tricky method since it's reliant on others. i don't even know what i'm talking about anymore, this feels like brainfart. anywayyyyy, i'll cut my thoughts on 'the picture of dorian gray' short, not that i had much to begin with. point is, these books r so great, if you've read them msg me rnnn, and if you haven't, get to it!!!

mwah mwah.
