I'm finished with my class! Yippee! Now I don't have to schedule everything around it anymore. However, as always, I am asked what I will do now that I'm done. I've been asked this question a billion times after I completed something. It's gotten kind of tiring at this point. From now until school starts, I'll be working on organizational assignments, coding projects, art, chores, and crossing things off of my summer bucket list.
As I mentioned earlier, I went to the dentist and got my hair cut. The dentist was okay, but I had a bone to pick with the hygienist I had. She just wasn't gentle with me and kept poking my cheek with one of the dental tools, I can't remember which one it was. I'm not the mock face and mouth they train you with in dental school. I'm a human being who is receptive to pain and other sensations. Obviously getting your teeth done shouldn't feel like heaven, but she could've done better. As for the haircut, I don't like it. Before I got my hair cut, my hair was layered, which gave it a unique and pleasing shape. Well, the hairstylist I visited cut my hair straight across, ruining my layers, and making it look more like a bob. I'm not happy, obviously. My mom has offered to take me someplace else to get it fixed, but I want to wait a month to let my hair grow back a little to give the new stylist something to work with. It sucks, but I'll get over it.
I've also had games on my mind recently. I was able to download an emulatable version of Tomodachi Life, and I've had so much fun! It's cool to build your own island with characters you've made. I really wish there were newer games like it in the market now. Also, I'm patiently awaiting Zenless Zone Zero, the latest game by Hoyoverse. I'm familiar with Hoyoverse's titles, but I've never played any of them. The reason I'm attracted to this game is because it oozes a style I love. I adore the dark, bold, poppy, urban feel everything has. The menus look amazing, I like the chunky fonts, and all the belts and gadgets and things the characters are outfitted with. It comes out this Thursday. I really want to play this game on my computer, but my GPU doesn't meet the requirements, meaning it may not work on my computer. I'll try it out and see. Thankfully, it's free, so if it doesn't work I'll just have to download it on my iPad :(
Another thing to note about ZZZ is that I'm not really familiar with Gacha games. I hope to not ruin my life playing this game as this genre is known to drain your wallets and your time! Regardless, I hope to have fun.
I've also been thinking about sophomore year a lot. There's something known as the sophomore slump, which is a "depression" where students experience difficulty in sophomore year due to decreased support. I already know that sophomore year's going to be hard for me as I have a class that is being taught by a teacher who can't teach. For now, I'm trying to find ways to curb this slump before it gets me. I won't fall victim!
June is ending; to be honest, June was okay. My summer class was fine, and there were of course some good moments. I hope to make better use of my time in July, as I have a little over a month of summer break left.
Boa noite,
