tekken wasted characters

hai so ive been a tekken fan since i was five, ive played tekken tag tournament and tekken 5

but yk noadays i played it all on my laptop (expect for tag2, 7 and 8) and theres some sort a problem with wasted characters like

making a characters and theyre just     there

(redoing this because maybe I didn't get all the facts right - not like anyone is reading this today anyway lol)

First example, Asuka Kazama

what was gonna (and probably) be another important Kazama character was wasted and turned into a joke character.

I don't mind that Asuka didn't get to fight Feng in tekken 5 but the writting has gone so bad after tekken 4 I can't ...

Asuka's first appearance was in Tekken 5, a lot was already happening in the story like Devil Jin, Heihachi 'dying' ect. but that still didn't room for Asuka in the story. I mean I like her design but some things like her big boobs are obviously used for fanservice like her t5's ending where Jin falls face first into them. Are you kidding me? Is that how you introduce a protentional important character? It showed healing powers but since her ending isn't canon, she does not posses healing powers.

If people really cared about the story, her and Lili could have teamed up to find (Jin and/or) Feng Wei and help each other but yet again- Asuka is not a Mishima, but a background Kazama character so they ended up making her fight Lili in most of her endings (ex. Tekken 6, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 /Lili's ending to nag Asuka/, Tekken 7 and Tekken 8 /Asuka's ending/).

Yes maybe they can change it but is it even worth it anymore? Her enemy in her debut is fighting a so-called 'new Wang Jinrei'. Do we really think they would give a fuck to change her?

# rip Asuka's neck. This is so depressing.

Example two:: Nina Williams

Nina is an interesting one, for one she was always competing with her sister Anna, for two she's tossed around by Mishima's. Had her own game too but hey, people forgot about that one.

What I really liked about Nina is that back then she could look sexy and scary at the same thing so what the hell happened to her design? Her face looks much softer now and not the sexy+scary combo. Also she had good character for an assassin but she got watered down to the sexy assassin stereotype.

Her story in Tekken 4 was, and I stand by it, probably the only time she broke from her persona. After being forced in cryo sleep, she finds out that they also used her to make Steve Fox. In her ending, she hesitated to kill Steve because she is human and feels strange about it but then tekken 5 walked in and said that she didn't feel anything...

What I hate is how she switches Mishima to Mishima, who are you working for again? Didn't one of them force you in cryo sleep? Don't you want revenge oh my gosh Nina stand up!! She would NOT work for Kazuya!!!!

Last thing I want to say is that her tekken 8 ending is sooo cringe. Straight from that one movie that people swear is good but has a 2/5 rating or a wattpad fan-fiction. Yea let me just invite Lee Chaolan and walk away with explosion behind me 'That's for making me clean up the mess' or whatever.

Third one, okay but hear me out on this one, Anna Williams

Anna is my girl and I dislike how they treat her.

Since her debut in tekken 1, she has always been an unlockable character (now dlc).

Her main plot is wanting revenge on Nina because their father preferred Nina. Anna wasn't seen as worthy because of her assassination skills which weren't as close as Nina's.

But she does not fully hate Nina. They are sisters and Anna feels that she cannot fully blame Nina for their father's neglect. 

When Nina lost her memories (due to cryo sleep) Anna did not want to fight her anymore but when Nina did get her memories back- she fought Anna immediately. Anna is also friends with Kazuya but many would dismiss it as work related when no, it really doesn't feel like that.

Really wish she had more plot with Lee or even some sort of scene where she beats up Marduk but seriously, nothing came out of that.

I don't know her plot in tekken 8 since season 2 dlc story mode isn't out yet....I think?...

Anyways, Anna has been bullied by her sister (in several endings) and by Harada too.

Ain't it weird that there's not much to say about Anna? I guess because she is not so relevant in the plot unless we are talking about tekken 6.

Last one is, Jun Kazama

I don't get her dating Kazuya and having a kid with him. The whole 'mean to everyone except me' doesn't sit well with me nor is it a good duo. Eugh.

Canonically only in tekken 2, yes I know she's in tekken 8 but remember that we don't know the true ending of it so there is a 50/50 chance that she's even alive.

Her coma did not make her age at all which frustrates me. The oldest looking girl character is ... huh? Does not exist.

Anyways, she was a cop just like Lei and wanted to arrest Kazuya for animal cruelty yet somehow and omg these writers are so boring-- fell in love with Kazuya. Oh I can change him girl get the fuck out right now. Wang Jinrei could not change him what makes you think you can?!

I guess since the writers had nothing else in it for her and made Unknown the evil version of her. Worst thing ever. Unknown will never be Jun. Unknown was supposed to be her lost sister or something not literally Jun Kazama. And for some reason she has healing powers. Lmao. Made sense in tekken tag tournament 1 but adding to her movesets? I'm out of here.

Just like any other girl character, she only exists to serve a part in a male characters plot (i.e. Kazuya and Jin, except for Miharu yeah shout out to Miharu).
