pre-concert thoughts 6/30/24

im lowkey really scared, i dont want my crush to think i sound bad or anything but i have to get up there and sing. i dont have any fellas there to support me but i think i'll be okay. 

so the setlist for today is as follows;

1. Bring Me To Life - Evanescence
2. Come Out and Play - The Offspring
3. About A Girl - Nirvana
4. All The Small Things - blink-182
5. Still Into You - Paramore
6. Basket Case - Green Day 
7. Welcome To The Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

the songs im most worried about are bring me to life, still into you, and welcome to the black parade. mostly because those songs require me singing a bit higher than comfortable. during our rehearsal of welcome to the black parade i just ended up full on screaming onstage bc it was WAY too high for me to be singing in my chest voice. im rlly comfortable with come out and play and about a girl bc they're in my comfortable spots in my voice, and i know them rlly well. 

bring me to life and welcome to the black parade scare me a bit because at the beginning the spotlight is all on me. it's like a guitar solo with my voice. the focus is on me and its terrifying. also bring me to life has a softer sound to the beginning but my head voice is always too quiet. i perform at like 4 so i hope all goes well. shaking in my boots rn
