Report Blog Entry
I know I'm not the only one but like. Ever since I joined this place felt like a graveyard seeing all of these accounts that haven't been logged on in years. The blog at least are the most active feature here but its not really something THAT notable since most of the blogs are super short or never get the attention they deserve. The forms are dead and almost no ones checks them out anymore, and the groups share the same fate. Not to mention that people tend to forget that this site exists, I know this cause I'm subscribed to a ton of blog entries and right now only 2 of them still upload blogs now and then. Its a shame really that this site won't ever get that popular, yet I still love it. The only thing going for it are the profiles which is the reason why I've joined in the first place. I'm not gonna even mentions the bulletins cuz you mind as well toss a coin for its consistency. I have 209 friends as of writing this and only 4 of them post bulletins. It's probably also related to time zones, cause I'm from eastern europe and most of the people here are american. Well thanks for reading even tho no one will. I'll try to keep my patience because this site has so much potential.

I plan on writing about this topic actually, there's a pretty blatant issue that's causing this with an easy fix. Except for the timezone stuff
I feel like that'd be kinda contradictory to what this site is about
It's about the expirience of MySpace but for the ones who haven't been able to expirience it originally
And fixing some issues that MySpace also had it be making a ne social media
I get what u wanna do but this is my opinion after all

Popularity isn't smth one can control so u can't really fix if ppl don't rlly wanna join ur site btw

it's def changed, the internet used to be much smaller then. plus alot of these people come from centralized social media sites such as twitter and tiktok where the algorithms push out engagement bait so they come on spacehey posting about baity topics etc etc

i mean in 2007 at the peak of myspace around like 20% of the world used the internet.. and thats a lot. Its smaller then what it is now but 20% its still alot so it wasnt that small. and wdym by baity topics exactly tho. From my time here asking ppl all around i havnt heard anyone that came from tik tok. Twitter yea probably but most of the ppl here joined cuz of a friend or by pure chance on anther RETRO social media or smth.

I like the fact this place doesn't have much going on. Too much distraction on bigger social medias, which is really bad for me since I get distracted easily.

my friend introduced me to it. ngl, ive made a few friends and some more i hope to become friends w. some people i regret meeting. and well, i cant remove the images of gore and porn from my head lol. but there does seem to be some opportunity here, and i like the small community size, i think it makes standing out easier. but yeah, it is pretty dry. i have 84 friends but similar story, most dont post bulletins and its hard to respond to most of those. i dont receive notifications for blogs i subscribe to, so i forget to check them which is annoying. in general the site is good at making you forget about it lol

same i always keep the tab open bc im paranoid of missing a message LOL. but funny thing bc i get at least 2-4 notifications a day max. ppl just dont like interacting w people sometimes even if theyre on the site. always post in bulletins so people who dont wanna interact w bulletins kinda annoy me even they dont mean to- just i really dont like how ims work on this site. the layout is claustrophobic to me

I agree that the site is kind of dead. I try my best to look at blogs and to give kudos and respond to them but even then, the site is still really dead. Also, I find it kind of interesting that a lot of people here are from America because I've probably talked to more Europeans but also, I'm American so idk.

lol yeah most of the time people discover this site on other social media like instagram or tiktok and they hop onto the trend, make an account, decorate their profile, and then just forget about it. at least that’s what i’m assuming
