MUSIC (bands/artists):

• David Bowie - fucking diehard, fav album for music is hunky dory but my favorite character is the thin white duke (i know, shut up), love his music, his style, his importance to glam rock history, and just everything
• My Chemical Romance - I SAW MCR LIVE IN PHILLY, PIT TICKETS, RIGHT UP ON THE STAGE, I KNOW EVERY WORD OF EVERY SONG. HUGE EMO TRASH RIGHT HERE BUT I DON'T ACTIVELY LISTEN TO THEM MUCH ANYMORE, JUST A SONG HERE AND THEN
• Panic! At the Disco - early panic is where it's at, BIG fan of afycso, pretty odd, vices and virtues, and twtltrtd. regretfully a fan of doab and pftw (guilty pleasure songs), and a HARDCORE DENIER AND HATER of vlv
• Waterparks - I'VE SEEN THEM TWICE, IN THE PIT BOTH TIMES, I KNOW EVERY DAMN SONG, AWSTEN IS A GOOBER, LOVE THEM TO DEATH
• Elton John - i saw him live in greensboro NC which was SO cool. elton has SO much music and i know i don't know it all but i do know a DAMN LOT of it. 
• Deftones - not gonna say i'm diehard but i like a lot of their music
• Ayesha Erotica - bitch i've been listening to her ALL NIGHT, she's playing as i'm typing. love this whore, i know a lot of her shit.
• Childish Gambino - I MIGHT BE SEEING HIM IN BOSTON THIS YEAR??? i love awaken my love, because the internet, and camp. ATAVISTA IS ACTUALLY GOOD, IDC THAT OTHERS HAVE MIXED FEELINGS, IT'S OBJECTIVELY GOOD, PEOPLE JUST DON'T LIKE WHEN ARTISTS CHANGE STYLE (how i feel about waterparks too)
• Tyler the Creator - tyler is my SHIT, i love ALL of odd future actually, i've watched all of aloiter squad MANY TIMES. golfwang type shit, i literally love all of his music, way back to bastard. every album is good in its own way, i know all the flognaw lore between the three albums, try me.
• Frank Ocean - I LOVE FRANK OCEAN BUT I DONT THINK BLONDE IS A GOOD ALBUM. I SAID IT. CHANNEL ORANGE IS AMAZING, HIS OTHER STUFF IS GREAT! i will listen to 2 (maybe 3) songs off blonde.
• Kendrick Lamar - i've listened to a lot of his albums, i fucking love to pimp a butterfly and good kid maad city. damn is also legendary AND HE IS TEARING DRAKE UP RN??? CERTIFIED LOVERBOY??? CERTIFIED PEDOPHILEBHJVJDGSVDH

HOBBIES:

• Collecting physical media - i collect CDs, DVDs, books, and vinyls. if i had a walkman, i'd collect casettes, but i'm still trying to find a good one. if i had a box TV, i'd collect VHS tapes, but im still tryna look for one of those too.
• Studying languages - i took three years of french in school THEN MY FRENCH TEACHER LEFT SO I COULDN'T GO UP TO FRENCH FOUR (I WAS GONNA GO ALL THE WAY UP TO AP FRENCH SO IT RLLY PISSES ME OFF), but now i'm going to take a latin 1 course because my school doesn't offer italian, which i'm studying on my own. je PEUX parler un peu de francais, mais ce n'est pas le meilleur. voglio imparare l'italiano perché mia nonna è siciliana e anche perché canto l'opera :)
• Playing instruments - i play bass guitar, acoustic, and electric. i also play piano :)
• Outdoors/beachy/swimmy - I LOVE DA BEACH!!! i swim a shit ton, i'm tan as FRICK cuz i've been at the beach a bunch this summer. i go paddleboardin often and i just recently went tubing for the first time. not like... sitting in a tube and going down a river type tubing (i've done that before), i mean tying the raft to the back of the boat and going out on the bay, choppy waves throwing you 5 feet in the air type tubing. it was great. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SURF??? I'VE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SURFBOARD SO I'VE NEVER LEARNED!! I WANT TO THO!!
• Craftinggg - i make lots of things. i do lots of papercrafting and collages. i sew things. i make jewelry and sometimes even kandi
• Reading - i'm such a little nerd, i love reading, i have my fav books below. i like classics and also weird gory things??
• Going to concerts - i've been to 20+ concerts, all of which i have written down somewhere, and recently i've gotten into my local punk scene, going to a two shows and im about to go to my third this week :)
• Dungeons and Dragons??? - I PLAYED DND EVERY MONDAY NIGHT AT A GAME STORE WITH MY DAD AND RANDOM MIDDLE AGED NERDS FOR THREE YEARS!!! i now play with my friends every once in a while. i'm always the DM because i prefer to run it than play it.

MOVIES:

• Rocky Horror Picture Show - I LIVE AND BREATHE ROCKY HORROR!!! I GO TO ROCKY SHOWS AT A THEATRE NEARBY EVERY TIME THEY DO IT SO I'VE BEEN TO THE PERFORMANCES A LOT!! I LOVE TIM CURRY, I LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK, I LOVE THE TRADITIONS!!
• Perks of Being a Wallflower - i love this book and this movie, it is the staple of my friend group, we all bonded over this movie. this movie singlehandedly got me into david bowie (even tho the tunnel song in the book is landslide by fleetwood mac, SIDENOTE I FORGOT TO SAY I LOVE FLEETWOOD MAC), sidenote-sidenote: this is one of three movies with johnny simmons in it that made this list
• Rocketman - TARON EGERTON IS SO HOT OH MY GOD AND RICHARD MADDEN AND WHOEVER PLAYS BERNIE, THEY'RE ALL SO FINE! ALSO TARONS VOICE IS SO FUCKING GOOD AHVSHVSDHSJHBJBJHB THIS MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE MOVIE. KIT CONNOR IS IN THIS TOO??? I HAD A CRUSH ON HIM IN THIS WHEN I FIRST SAW IT WHEN I WAS A WEE LAD!!! AHHHHH
• Jennifer's Body - THIS MOVIE IS SO CUNT I FUCKING LOVE IT, JENNIFER CHECK IS SUCH A BAD BITCH, THE PLOT IS CRAZY, ITS SO SHITTY 2000'S, IT'S CRINGE, IT'S ICONIC, GREAT SOUNDTRACK WITH PARAMORE AND PANIC, WEIRDLY GOOD CAST, AMANDA SEYFRIED, THIS IS JOHNNY SIMMONS MOVIE NUMBER TWO, CHRIS PRATT? JK SIMMONS? MEGAN FOX
• Dead Poets Society - this is THE movie that got me into movies. changed my life. i read the book (even tho the book is FUCKING SHIT, I HATE IT!!! THEY WROTE IT AFTER THE MOVIE TO CHANGE THE EVENTS AND ITS JUST AWFUL CUZ THEY CHANGED PIVOTAL PLOT POINTS AND ALSO RESHAPED EVERYONES PERSONALITIES TO MAKE THEM HIGHKEY PROBLEMATIC??). nuwanda <3 neil perry <3 ETHAN HAWKEDJHQEKFJGEJ I HAVE SUCH A HUGE CRUSH ON ETHAN HAWKE SPECIFICALLY WHEN HE GREW UP CUZ HES KINDA BABYFACED IN THIS BUT HE AGED SO WELL AND HES A SILVER FOX NOW OH MY GOOOOD 
• Fight Club - this movie is a MINDFUCK and i LOVE IT. the book makes me FUCKING QUEASY ITS SO GOOD! edward norton, helena bonham carter, and brad pitt are so fucking sexy in this. the concept of the story is great and twisted, we love movies about toxic masculinity
• American Psycho - speaking of toxic masculinity... i loved the book so i watched the movie. and christian bale is a MENACE! he's such a crazy good fucking actor.
• Scott Pilgrim vs The World - johnny simmons movie number three. this series is fucking kooky. i've read the graphic novels and watched the show, there is so much overlap with the cannon. the movie is fun and i love the cast.
• Princess and the Frog - FAV MOVIE GROWING UP!!! THE FOOD, THE MUSIC, THE ART STYLE, THE CULTURE, THE MAGIC! every character is interesting, i love it.
• Borat - i have gone on many rants about how genius sacha baron cohen is, making these mockumentaries to expose the politically incorrect bigotry of america. he's goofy as hell in this movie but he's weirdly sexy in a devilish evil genius way in real life. 
• Truman Show - i normally don't like jim carrey movies but this one is another mindfuck. it's such a creepy concept portrayed in such an iconic way. "and in case i don't see you..."
  
• Superbad - i'm a teenage boy, what can i say? my favs in this are seth rogen and bill hader, fucking HILARIOUS.
• Joker - JOAQUIN PHOENIX DID SUCH A GOOD JOB AS JOKER (even tho heath ledger is my fav joker), THIS MOVIE IS PHENOMENAL
• 21 Jump Street - we JUMP STREET... and we gon JUMP IN YO ASS!! (right in the crack), jonah hill is funny
• Mean Girls - literally quote this on a daily basis.

BOOKS (which i do actually have favorites for, so here are my favorites):

• The Secret History - the DEPTH of this universe is AMAZING! ALL FIVE OF THEM ARE SO FLEDGED OUT AND THE WRITING IS GORGEOUS, DONNA TARTT WRITES BRILLIANTLY. I LOVE THE PRETENTIOUSNESS OF THIS FUCKING BOOK! THIS IS MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME!
• A Clockwork Orange - I COULD GO ON FOREVER ABOUT THIS BOOK, IT'S AN AMAZING MORAL DILEMMA STORY AND THE WRITING IS A LINGUISTS DREAM!! IT'S WRITTEN IN A MADE UP LANGUAGE YOU HAVE TO DECODE AS YOU READ!! RANDOM WORDS WILL BE SWITCHED OUT FOR MADE UP ONES!! ITS A LOT MORE COMPLEX THAN THAT BUT I DON'T NEED TO EXPLAIN IT RIGHT NOW!!
• Fight Club - chuck palanhiuk is such an interesting writer, this book is fucking trippy and it makes me genuinely queasy as i'm reading it.
• My Year of Rest and Relaxation - SHE IS SO UNAPOLOGETICALLY PROBLEMATIC WITH SUCH LITTLE ENERGY, I LOVE THIS STORY
• Memoirs of a Geisha - this taught me a lot about japanese culture, in a way i didn't expect. as i was reading, i noticed how heavily nature influences eastern asian culture. i had never experienced the full extent of it until i read her memoirs.
• Breakfast of Champions - kurt vonnegut is my dad's favorite author, and this is my favorite of his work. this book is dumb-funny but meta??
• American Psycho - this book is a satire on toxic masculinity (as is the movie), not a genuine encouragement to mistreat and defy women. the book was written by a gay man and the movie was written and directed by a woman. this story is not telling you to get on the grindset, it's proving that materialism will drive you to insanity and turn you into a clinical fucking psychopath.
• The Stranger - camus is great. existential philosophy is wonderful. my favorite page in this entire book is the last one (if you've read it, you understand)

YOUTUBERS

• Dan and Phil - born and raised, sadly, i am dan and phil trash. it's so bad you could play any video from them from like 2014 to 2019 and i could fully quote it and speak along with it. i own the books, the merch, used to have a DNP phone case, i own II tour on dvd, got a cat whiskers poster in my room, it's awful, i'm awful.
• Ted Nivison, Charlie Slimecicle, and jschlatt - i've loved them since the lunch club days, i watc chuckle sandwich and all of their individual contents
• Jake Webber - just newly into him, he's a goober. i love how he's a rich emo. he, johnnie, and tara are all so damn rich and it's funny to watch them just get drunk and blow money.
