"tour" on hold ;)

Everyone knows that I joke about "touring" (but I really did a tour in 2014 with TM Stevens!) so obviously I am talking about the recent wave of gigs I did over these past three weekends.

My hair and fingers need a break :)

Last night I got to play with the cover band Rock Hard at Bardi's, third time there (for me) and it was INSANELY GREAT!! I am not kidding, the vibes were great, the band sounded hot and I feel vindicated. Why? Because I proved that I'm metal after all!

We did the usual songs by Zeppelin, AC/DC, Motorhead, Hole, STP, etc. But we did "Dogman" by King's X!!! Man, that sounded HEAVY! Also did "Mother Mother" by Tracy Bonham...well even though I'm not crazy about that song, I have to say the singer Alana owns it now! 

And just when I thought I could escape doing "Zombie" by The Cranberries...

A bunch of college kids strolled in during our second set and one girl asked "Can you play 'Zombie'?" Drummer James Bruno and I knew it but bassist Tom and Aland didn't. I said "It's easier than you think" and we played it with no rehearsal. And I tell you what, it sounded damn good!

I still dislike the song though. (No disrespect to Dolores!)

Next show for me won't be until July 27th with Evolution at Tony's Pizza in Stockholm, NJ. 

So my 'tour' is on hold ;)
