language stuff!!

hello! not much has happened today; i've been petsitting the past week for my uncle, and he's finally home so i don't need to do that anymore. i've been getting up at 7 AM everyday for it and i'm just really not used to it, i need a day where i can sleep until noon LOL

outside of that i'm sure ur wondering "hey why is this titled language stuff?" and that is becaaaaussseee i've downloaded some language learning apps recently! i took german for four years back in highschool, and when i go back to uni in august i'm gonna continue learning it, but i also downloaded duolingo to learn russian, and drops to learn croatian! i've wanted to learn russian for a while, i just could never really dedicate myself to it. i'm doing my best now though. and i'm working on learning croatian because my boyfriend knows some and has family from croatia, and so i think it'd be nice for us to be able to speak it together.

drops is a really good app for learning languages- duolingo actually like, doesn't offer that many, but drops has had all of the languages i've looked for. back like 2 years ago i tried to learn some icelandic (i still remember some!) and drops was the only app which offered it. when i realized duolingo didn't have croatian i knew drops would lololol

what else ........... ahhhhh i'm just so happy to be done with petsitting. it's gonna be so nice to not need to go over there multiple times a day everyday now. i can't wait to like take a gigantic nap and sleep for four hundred years.
