My tech update Part 1 (Distractible style?)

One thing I really enjoy about Distractible is listening to Mark's tech updates. I think our taste in technology is very similar, but also vastly different at the same time, as he tends to love purchasing the latest tech, and I preffer looking for the oldest working tech possible. So in Distractible style fasion, I'd like to do my very own tech update, and also explain a bit of how I use technology :)

I'm pretty new in my technology journey, but I think I'm very rapidly starting to get to the point I'm setting myself up very well to use technology exactly how I intend to for my personal lifestyle choice.
I do very much appreciate the benefits of modern technology, however for a rather distractible like me who really struggles using today's technology and social media in moderation, I am slowly cultivating a lifestyle where I feel the most happy in my use, and where I can voluntarily stay away from using technology, because I do not depend on it to entertain me.

I value nostalgia when it comes to tech from the 90s-2010s, because that's where my love for technology began.I obviously do own more mondern tech, but I find my appreciation for it also comes with its downsides when it comes to my attention span.

-The tech I own + why I like/use it-

Starting from the possibly oldest to the newest, we have:

1. my flip phone.
- i own a kyoceera kyf31 which is a Japanese flip phone. I think I've owned it for about three or so months now, and the change has been very different to when I challenged myself to only use my iphone for texting and calling.
My phone can't download any apps, but I can access very basic aspects of my email on it, and I can run youtube on it as well! I really only use it for texting and calling, however, now that I found a cord that has a valid usb for anything other than charging, I also take videos and photos on it! Knowing this I will likely be using it more.

2. My iphone
- I'm not too sure what kind of iPhone it is. One of the newer ones, at least. All I do know is that it is very very broken. The screen emits two lightsaber-green lights, and the back of it is almost completely shattered. I don't use it much anymore besides if someone insists on tracking me, in which case it sits in my bag and never gets used. It was very fun while I had it, but I was very addicted to it, spending an average on 9 hours for a long while.

3. iPad (10th gen)
- I am very fond of this thing. A bit too fond. One of my family members had gifted it to me, and my main intention was to use it for iMessage, content that needed to be posted for my art account or in relation to any church stuff, as well as digital art. I do own a wacom tablet, but suspended my csp susbcription for the next little bit. For the most part, I do stick to this, however, I find myself downloading social media apps every now and again for reasons unrelated to the content I need to post. I'm working on it

For the sake of length, this may be a three-part introduction. LOL
