So I was scrolling through Spotify and I thought "Hey didn't my old iPod have O'Fortuna on it for whatever reason?" So I went and found it, this exact version since it had the cover art that I remember being on my iPod. Then I thought, "Well since you have that, you gotta find the remix for it you had, right?" So I try and find it on YouTube, no dice. Just baile phonk remixes of the song. So I google it, no dice, same kind of results. Then I look in google images, then I found this album art.
This cover art was the cover art for the remix I remember listening to on my iPod (Forgot to talk about the fact that I misremembered the artist's name as DJ Dirty Beers, DJ Dirty Bass, and then when I found it I was like "DJ BEARDY BOY?! THAT'S the one I remember!"), So I try to search up "DJ Beardy Boy" and this album shows up, not the one that has the remix. It's the only thing that's on their spotify page. https://open.spotify.com/album/6QUfCH6EZ1uw8brvbHDSVW
So then I thought "Oh, 'Freedom of Paradise and Dreams,' try searching that up". A Spotify page DOES come up, but nearly all of the songs are unavailable, including that O'Fortuna remix. As far as I know, this video is the only evidence of this song, and it's only a snippit, and it's this backyard wrestling montage (RQ Content warning for mild violence, scarring, blood).
Searching "DJ Beardy Boy" on YouTube shows three results: The wrestling video, a crusty live show video, and a video of their remix of another classic classical song, Cannon. The rest of the results only show a "DJ Beardy," no boy. DJ Beardy Boy on Apple Music has that same one album, no Freedom of Paradise and Bladeblah. Searching on SoundCloud yields baile funk for some reason, aaaand I've ran out of things to look DJ Beardy Boy up on. So yeah, my favorite O'Fortuna remix is essentially lost media now. SADZ. If anyone can help me find this thing, hop in the comments, if not, IDK.
(Edit 1):
WAIT JUST A DANG SECOND, THE SAUCE JUST GOT SAUCIER! https://youtu.be/YLk8AMNCo24
^So this is the same song that was in the wrestling video, therefore it's the same song that was on my iPod, BUT it's under the name "APTHEOSIS," not DJ Beardy Boy. God, this actually just shattered my brain. Freedom of Paradise and Dreams is clearly not a "Mix" album, I think DJ Beardy legit just stole this remix from APOTHEOSIS. That must be why most of TFOPAD is unavailable, cus copyright.
(Edit 2):
I WAS RIGHT! Chaoz Fantasy and Hardcore Feelings, both of which were on TFOPAD, aren’t by DJ Beardy Boy, but by ParagonX9 and Charly Lownoise, respectively. So either Freedom of Paradise is a mix album, or this is just straight up theft.
