SONG- Runaway
ARTIST-LINKIN PARK
PUBLISHED ON OCTOBER 24 2000
Linkin Park's "Runaway" appears to be an introspective and reflective song about the singer's desire to escape and find answers to his problems.Β The phrase "Graffiti decorations under a sky of dust" suggests a world in decay, full of pain.Β The constant tension and lack of confidence that the singer experiences have taught him that the lessons he learned were never really true.
FUN FACTS ABOUT THE SONGΒ
β β·βRunawayβ is the song that Chester hated the most, due to the tediousness of creating it.
β β·The paper bags and angry voices symbolize the weight of Chester's problems and the voices in his head.
MY OPINION
Β In my personal opinion, this song has a relaxing sound, the lyrics have a lot of feeling and dedication. I always find Linkin Park's songs incredible, but this was one of the first songs I heard from the band and it brings back many memories.
Β It's an excellent song I listened to it if you like it.
