EWW WHAT IS WHOPPS DOING HERE 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.  Literally garbage song if you ask me.  A year ago we had Mother, possibly the best song put on here by Meghan Trainor since Wave in like 2019.  I’d thought she would improve with her Timeless album (Made You Look was good but got overplayed) but NOPE.  Tbh I’d rather listen to Been Like This (which was also pretty trashy).  

Charli XCX is here with 360.  All I’m saying is this is weird.  Not my cup of tea.

Besides that, this is the best debut of the week, however the lowest (why hits 1).  This is better than Espresso 100000% (still love espresso don’t get me wrong). Hope this can pull a Houdini.

No Angels, Made For Me, and II MOST WANTED left us this week.  I’m celebrating IIMW being gone.  That song made me take a nap whenever I heard it and I never knew how it was here this long if it never did anything.  No Angels was good and I’m convinced Hits 1 used Made For Me as a shot to get another extra.

Speaking of the extra this week’s was absolutely ridiculous.  Although the app is broken, I was able to listen to the countdown in the car, and holy crap was this song annoying.  Isabel is literally whispering.  You heard me, WHISPERING.  Please never debut!

Yay MILLION DOLLAR BABY is finally doing something!  Let’s reach the top 20 next week, okay?

obsessed dropped 13 spots this week.  Good.  Keep falling.

Also yay, Good Luck, Babe! is SO CLOSE to reaching the top 10.  Let’s go Chappell!

I’m convinced that Hits 1 ran out of songs to debut and just put I Can Do It With a Broken Heart as a placeholder.  It looks like it’s on its last week.  Good song tho.

Make You Mine is close to becoming my orange song.  We can avoid this by leaving next week.

I Had Some Help and Houdini both made ENORMOUS jumps into the top 5. Well done.

Finally, the number one song this week is Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter.  I love this song but…….is it REALLY that worthy of hitting this position?  When I first heard it, I just thought it would hit the top five but not the top spot.  I think it’s all for the short and sweet hype, but I don’t think this will last long since other songs are very close to this (Not picking favorites but I think End of Beginning deserved better.)
