All magix users can be witches or fairies and it depends solely on if their magic is used for good or for evil, as different magix types were originally evolved to take advantage of their environment (with the exception of the dragon flame). The dragon flame magix was created at the universe's beginning to introduce magix at all to it, made to eventually grow rare from becoming obsolete as it was adapted to no specific environment, it is sometimes called the heart of all magix.

Water fairies evolved in the same area as mermaids, eventually resulting in the two merging until there was no differences between these species, and forming the sirenix transformation.

Dark fairies are related to water fairies, but are freshwater and nocturnal variants that adapted less aquatically and more for the dim lighting of thick tree canopies in jungles, marshes, and swamps. When some fairies of the wind magix migrated to the tops of these canopies after volcanoes displaced them from their mountain homes, it resulted in the crossbreed of storm fairies that could use wind to weaponize the electric signals dark fairies used for navigation.
