MLP tales rant

This is Mae Magazine/Emma Existential, Ur local scene kid & artist, I was recently going thru my dvd collection since i was organizing, a lot of which happen 2 b childhood dvds, and I rediscovered the Gem that is My little pony tales. I havent seen much discussion of this revival of MLP beyond a video essay, but then again i havent done much research either, ANYWAY, i grew up on this dumb show, along with G4 and My little pony the movie from 1986. While im very nostalgic for my little pony tales, i have to admit it's a far cry from the original generation or any other adaptation, and theres a reason it isnt remembered much, however, its very memeable, from the plot to the occasional animation errors, I have not finished rewatching it yet, But Logan and Squire are decent characters, neither have much of a personality so they arent as unbearably unlikeable as the main 3 boys, sure, they have their charm, but they way they were written feels so 'girls neat and tidy, boys gross dirty and mean bullies' LITERALLY HALF OF THE EPISODES THEY ARE IN IS THEM BEING TERRIBLE CHARACTERS, ESPECIALLY TEDDY, I liked Teddy for the first couple episodes but GODDD did his character get annoying so quickly, like, no need to be horrible to every1 just cuz ur insecure u have a teddy bear, He never learns either. Ace and Lancer are a little bit more likeable from what ive seen, they have their bad moments, but overall are pretty decent, Lancer is way better than the other 2 imo. Something you need to get used to when watching is every pony in the show has like 1 or 2 traits, and are usually pretty horrible characters who will ditch their friends over the smallest things, especially the side characters. Anyway, overall, it's a show to turn off your brain and fall asleep to, as long as you don't think too much like I did. You can watch it all for free on youtube.
