What is The End is Nigh?

The End is Nigh is a precision platformer made by the well known Edmund McMillen (creator of: The Binding of Isaac, Time Fcuk, Super Meat Boy and many more). Like Super Meat Boy this game was created to make you pissed off, the focus on difficulty like many of his games is the big point of The End is Nigh. In a post apocalyptic world you are expected to die over and over agian. As Edmund says it "The End Is Nigh is a sprawling adventure platformer where you die a lot, but thats ok because you are probably already dead anyway."

What brought me into The End is Nigh?

The main way I found The End is Nigh was due to Edmund's other games. I've been playing games like The Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy for a while and soon Steam recommended on the home page on the Players Like You Love section and one of the games it show was The End is Nigh. Knowing Edmund's games I thought it was going to be enjoyable but hard like the other games and it ended up being great.

Would I recommend it?

Now, if you enjoy peaceful games and enjoy taking things slow or just play games to destress, this may not be the game for you. As I said this game is made to be difficult somethings may seem impossible, but you just gotta keep dying. Learn from these fails and think outside the box. This game is for people who enjoy games that are unfair and that will make you pissed off.
