Last Friday I went to Chelsea in the City with my mom and we went to Pearl River Mart, a store that had a pop-up in a mall in my borough in February for Lunar New Year. Don't read the post from then (read the Putumayo posts) but my mom decided to browse the store while I was trying to regain feeling in my legs, which is how I found her in the incense and crystals section. We decided that it was best to buy only 2 boxes of incense to try it out, one jasmine and one lavender. I actually do enjoy them a lot for reasons other than them warding off roaches and mosquitos from my room. I find the smell really calming, which I was expecting to not when I first purchased them. I hear a lot of reviews of cheap incense smelling extremely chemical and like shitty perfume, so I was worried that this incense would be the same. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least and I have now burned at least 5 sticks each from both boxes. I like the lavender more than the jasmine, but I feel like that is to be expected when I have such a heavy bias towards lavender as a scent for anything. My mom wanted to order some incense off of Amazon but I advised against it because of the sheer amount of dropshippers that occupy that website. Buying anything that needs to be decent quality (especially something like incense because you burn it), making a risk like trusting dropshippers could be the difference between a decent time and one that's absolutely abhorrent (06/27/2024). — Mars ᓚᘏᗢ |

I DIDN'T SEE THIS COMMENT SORRY !!! My response is that you should buy incense at smoke stores because they're more liable if they sell you a bad product in comparison to online stores that can scam you because they don't rely on customers coming in. If you do have to go online for it, I suggest really HEAVILY reading negative reviews and weighing if you're willing to take the sacrifice of the incense being exactly as bad as they describe.
