Review 5: Dark Deception

What is Dark Deception?

Dark Deception is a singleplayer horror maze game. Where you get trapped in a realm of many mazes with different settings, monsters and powers to collect. After every portal you gain a special power, (some being: speed boost, teleportation and telepathy). During these levels you collect soul shards inorder to level up these power. 

What brought me into Dark Deception?

Each level is made into chapters with the first chapter being free and the others being $7.99 (or $22.79 for the complete set). I started by testing out the firt chapter for free and enjoyed the overall gameplay and monster designs.

Where can you play it?

Right now Dark Deception is only available on Steam. Physical copies are planned for the future on: Playstation 4/5, Xbox One/S|X and Switch currently.

Would I reccomend it?

Me personally would recommend it for both gameplay, character design and a bit of story (the story does get better the closer you get to the end of the game). Now I would say to not buy it straight away and try the first chapter for free to get a overall feel for the game itself. Now, I do have to mention that in my opinion some of the enemies can get a bit more annoying the more you progress with the issue of trying to pay attention to multiple more unique monsters then the first chapter.
