educational games could have potential

you know, i played an old sega genesis game these days for a Kamtape video of mine i can potentially post tomorrow or even Saturday, but while analyzing the game play, i just realized just how poorly made the console ports of math blaster episode 1 was really.

That's just sad though! educational games as a whole have a great potential to be actually better and to at least be in the same quality as classics, like Zelda, sonic, Mario, Metroid, and even final fantasy and Chrono trigger, but unfortunately, most end up being cheap attempts to get kids attention, mostly restricted to PC, which in the 90s was still a new thing (Maybe except for Mario teaches typing, which did what it did back then), and most try to sell off like they were an actual game, such as Mario's time machine (a history game) and even Mario is missing (a geography game).

It's just sad honestly, but it often makes me wonder why did the 90s was called the golden age for educational games when most were just what i complained?
