internet lore....

I'm a person that gets obssesed with something once in a while, and my new let's say "obssesion" is internet lore, more specifically, 4chan! And I swear I am not an edgy little kid that wants the 2003-2010 era back, those weirdos that harrassed people disgust me, I just really enjoy listening to the whole story of 4chan. It's really interesting to me "Why did it calm down after all that?" "What those people were thinking?" "Where are the og 4channers now?". I've watched TONS of documentaries on youtube for the past few days but I still wanted to make this post lol, and because I wasn't on the internet back then, if any old 4channer is reading this (or someone that knows 4chan really well) right now then how was it back then? There were tons of dramas, but were they every single day? Was it REALLY that wild? It is mind-blowing for me that this site is still there, functioning like a normal website but it made like atleast 1/3 of the internet lore... What do you guys think??
