VAMPIRE DIARIES REALIZATION (spoilers ahead)

This might sound totally random but i need to get it off my chest.

Those who have seen Vampire Diaries know that most people who defend the Selena ship use the doppelganger theory to confirm that their love is the better one, assigned by destiny. Let me just say that this is totally wrong. The doppelganger that was meant for Stefan was Katherine but they never had their moment so Stefan tried to find her in Elena but in actuality the doppelganger that was made for Elena was the medic that we see in the lasts seasons of the show. My theory is that if Elena lived a normal human life she would've studied medicine and found her way to Stefan's doppelganger, Tom Avery the medic.

Then again, Elena wasn't meant for the human life, she was bound to get involved and find true love in Damon since he never as a human had a love and at the end of the show he finally gets his second chance.

I suppose I'm not the inventor of this theory but I was rewatching the second season and it just all fit so perfectly and i had no one to talk to about it so here i am, yapping.
