Review 4: Risk of Rain 2

What is Risk of Rain 2?

Risk of Rain 2 (or RoR2) is a third-person action roguelike shooter. With both multiplayer and singleplayer the main goal of RoR2 is to complete the looping world of Petrichor V via one of the three endings. You can pick to continue the loop for as long as you want with of course the enemies spiking in difficulty as you loop. With 14 unlockable characters and many unlockable items, character skill and skins, not including the entire modded community.

What brought me into Risk of Rain 2?

Two reasons, my most common reason was due to the Steam discovery queue. But, another reason was actually from another game entirely. The roguelike Dead Cells had a giant update with many crossovers from different games one of them being the suit and gun of a character from the Risk of Rain series, which introduced me into it.

Where can you play it?

Risk of Rain 2 can be played on the following: PC (Steam and Epic Games), PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/X|S, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.

Would I recommend it?

If you enjoy roguelikes and alittle bit of challenge I would recommend Risk of Rain 2 singleplayer. I saw that because from time to time my multiplayer is a little bit glitchy, sometimes kicking my friends or causing issues with enemies disappearing. Another issue depends on who you play with, items can and will be stolen by you're teammates accidentally or not it can get annoying (depending on if you steal or get stolen from).
