my mom's bf tells me, my sister, and my mom that he loves us all and i'm afraid of getting attached to my mom's partners since they usually never last too long but like... SHE'S BEEN DATING THIS GUY SINCE LIKE- BEFORE CHRISTMAS. he bought us christmas presents even though at the time he only knew us for a month. HE BOUGHT ME A FRAMED PICTURE OF PAVITR PRABHAKAR AND AN ART KIT. HE GAVE ME SPIDER-MAN COMICS. HE BOUGHT ME ISSUE #3 OF X-MEN '97 LAST WEEK. he actually listens and cares unlike my dad who just makes fun of me or tells me to "calm down" whenever i talk about the things i like

he's honestly like a dad to me and he even said he was dad one time to get someone's number (had to get my bff's mom's number to deliver a gift basket to them) and it made me want to cry. HE MAKES ME WANT TO CRY BECAUSE HE'S THE FATHER FIGURE I'VE BEEN NEEDING FOR YEARSSSSS

but every time he's like "i love you guys i love hanging out with you guys you guys are awesome" i always ghost him because HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RESPOND TO THAT. LIKE YEAH I FEEL THE SAME WAY BUT HOW DO I TELL YOU THAT???????

my dad always jokes about him too... he's always like "oh just go back to your mom's house and your BETTER DAD" and i always think to myself.... YEAH. HE WOULD BE A BETTER DAD!!! BUT UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES THE UNIVERSE HAS PRESENTED ME HE IS NOT MY BIOLOGICAL FATHER!!!!

my dad always says "just so you know... hehe.... i am 100% better than him..." like NO THE FUCK YOU ARE NOT. there's a reason my mom left u!!! it's because you suck and you bully people all the time because you're insecure of yourself because you have little to no redeeming qualities!!!

my mom's bf made me realize how horrible my dad is. i genuinely used to hate my mom JUST because she cheated on my dad. SHE CHEATED FOR A REASON!!! BECAUSE HE KEPT BULLYING HER AS A "JOKE" AND NEVER TRULY MADE HER FEEL LOVED!!! AND HE'S ALSO RACIST, HOMOPHOBIC, AND TRANSPHOBIC!!!! HE HATES WOMEN!!! SAYS THE N WORD!!!! IS JUST GENERALLY A BAD PERSON!!! GOD!!!!

man.... if my mom breaks up with this guy i am gonna be FUMING. like this is the best man she's ever dated. EVER. i STILL remember that one guy she dated that looked like fucking willem dafoe and i legit thought my mom started dating the green goblin. that was unrelated to the whole thing but i still think about how he was the father of my step-cousin's fiance and it was really weird
