Weird Recession-Era Boingy Type Music Playlist (or just late 2000s Electropop)

Almost a year ago now, I was on social media when I heard the song SleepyHead by Passion Pit play, and almost immediately I was entranced by the song unique vocals and the synths used, it felt so nostalgic for me, and I wanted to hear more songs that sounded just like it but at the time, I had no idea where to start looking, so I stopped my search

It wasn't until the songs, Time to Pretend and Kids, both by the band MGMT, began to trend on Tik Tok that I had a lead. With these three songs, I was able to build a small Spotify playlist that I would like to share.. 

I'm not really sure what this genre of music is really called, as suggested by the title of this blog post, but I'll stop my ranting and link the playlist below, if you have any suggestions on what songs I should add, pls let me know!!!
