movie blog [#1]> Me and Earl and The Dying Girl

This is my first movie blog!!!!!! I watch a lot of movies but I like to watch them alone but only downside is I don't have anyone to talk to about the movie after until now, but his is really just a log to keep myself busy tbh :)

WHAT A GREAT MOVIE!! I mean I'm not a very critical person so I like most of the movies I watch but this one is really good. It based on a book which I think usually goes well for coming of age movies but very rarely goes well for any other genre. ANYWAY this movie utilizes the "unreliable narrator " really well you follow are main character and HIS feelings and HIS inner thoughts. It points out that he's unreliable a couple times (in a good way). For example his best friend Earl who corrects our main characters previous claim that he's not his friend, but his coworker. When I was watching this movie I thought my favorite scene would be the hospital movie scene (I don't want to spoil it) But the scene at the end where he notices all the little things he never noticed before in her room ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. Also Earl is my favorite character. HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially if you enjoy "Perks of Being a Wallflower" or "Wonder"
