Review 1: Dead Estate

What is Dead Estate?

Dead Estate is a fast-paced top-down action roguelike. A singleplayer game where you can pick from (currently) 10 playable characters, each with diffrent primary weapons and some with more special secondary weapons (example: one character can only use magical wands and one can't use guns). Has two main endings and multiple weapons and items that can boost the character in combat.

What brought me into Dead Estate?

I actually just found in on the Steam discovery queue and it looked interesting to me so I bought it.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, I would  if you enjoy roguelikes. Dead estate is a great replayable game that I really enjoyed. I love the different characters and the items you can gain to help in your runs. Another great thing is theres a Dead Estate demo on itch.io. I think the only real issues I have are sometimes runs can just get boring with the game not having many unique bosses per floor.
