the art I create

When I first understood I was an artist was back in 6th grade when I made a pretty lengthy story about the apocalypse. It was very influenced at the time by anime and power rangers. To summarize it was pretty childish but showed an interest in dark themes. This interest continued into my teen years where I was a self admitted fan of Quentin Tarantino. For me it was the amount of violence he put on screen in such comicboook fashion that got my attention. I also understood his love for exploitation movies from the 70s and 80s.

This really influenced me for a writing project I had in school. My teacher asked us to write a story and it could be anything. Of course I chose to write a story about a student influenced by exploitation films and one day killed his teacher with an ax for giving him an F in class. The length of this entry is to give you an idea of what works of art influence my art.
