man i'm scared for the next chainsaw man chapter

i realized a few weeks ago that, if chainsaw man part 2 is gonna be as long as part 1, then we're already over halfway through and nothing feels resolved!! which is honestly fine, i'm betting on a third part, but i'm just scared that if that's the case then tatsuki fujimoto is gonna end part 2 on the LEAST SATISFYING cliffhanger on the planet. my theory for this next chapter is that this is when denji's contract with pochita will break for real, because asa was pretty much the last person who seemed to genuinely want him to live a normal life, and from his viewpoint it looks like she was the one who told him she didn't actually care about him...PLUS poor asa is definitely going to worsen the situation that yoru left her to fix, because she has zero social awareness. still, knock on wood, because if there's one thing i'm taking away from this manga it's that nothing ever happens the way i expect it to.......man i really thought they were just gonna get some sushi :(

anyway im super excited in spite of everything. fujimoto never disappoints.
