People might be sending friend requests because they find your profile interesting or want to connect. It’s normal to get requests from people you don't know, especially on social media.
Just accept requests from those you feel comfortable with. If you’re unsure, it’s totally okay to ignore or decline them.

true but it happened literally in the first seconds since I made the profile and it's basically empty, I just added a sentence and a profile picture later so that's that.
so it kinda works like Facebook huh? people like to collect people on their friends list? >.<
