Goddamn Electric

The lyrics to “Goddamn Electric” by Pantera were definitely going through my head when I created a profile on this platform. I’m sure a lot of ya’ll OG MySpace users feel me on that. Before social media became what it is today, there was THIS place that was just to look up cool new people, music, etc. 

I find myself daydreaming back to the days when I was 16 who was just trying to finish high school. All I wanted to do was hang out with my friends, listen to music, smoke some weed, MySpace  and go to parties and concerts.

Being responsible for working and paying bills, raising a child and holding a marriage together can feel draining at times. This pandemic has definitely taught me to take a mental break when I need one. This account has rekindled the opportunity to pretend I’m sixteen again lol
