"Oh they talk about being autistic all the time. REAL autistic person wont do that!!"
OHHH WHAT IF they talk about being autistic all the time BECAUSE THEY ARE autistic, they are aware of it and they want to make sure you know about it to consider it next time you will want to damn judge them????????????????????? And they just dont understand where it's enough????
I can't get over how people are so unwilling to believe each other when it comes to mental illnesses because you never fucking know about what's going on with a person. If your perspective and experience of the illness doesn't match what you see in the other person, that's your problem. Some people cry out for help and others choose not to share their problems. You never know about what's going on with a person behind closed doors, and you have no fucking right to judge them.
"Oh well, they're doing it for attention!" If a person wants attention and is seeking it in this way, it means they are facing some kind of problem that they POSSIBLY don't know how to solve yet. Or there's another reason. It possibly can be undiagnosed illness. THAT HAPPENS.
People aren't always inclined to tell you the truth and share all the details of their thoughts and conditions, especially if you're a dick from the mountain who only sees them on the internet.
If a person talks about having a medical condition, treat them as if they have that condition. They are not above or below anyone else. They have their own characteristics, and if you know about them, take them into account, or just don't fucking act like cunt because "a person with a real disease doesn't act like that".
There are 8 billion of us on the planet, and everyone has their own set of personality, background, environment, and tons of other characteristics that affect the expression of disease, condition, syndrome, and else. You cant predict everything.
