I'm not sure what to doAAAAA

So I began teaching myself guitar about a few months ago and this summer I am buying my first electric guitar after years of using my acoustic guitar I got when I was like super young. I am learning rock, metal, and punk but now with an electric guitar Im not sure which one to get. I'm getting a used one and my budget roughly is 250$ - 300$ and my dream guitar is a Paul reed smith.
