Update '24

Hello!

As you may have noticed, Sirakh is now Deadlight District. In case you have missed the news, allow me to give you a bit of an update:

It's around Christmas 2023. Dimmu (drums), Zack (bass) and myself are at a mutual friend's wedding. We hadn't been active for a while and I discussed that with Dimmu by the bar when the people were enjoying themselves. A lot had happen during the past couple of years and the other members of the band had found other artistic outlets for themselves. They admitted openly that they didn't want to do this thing called Sirakh anymore. We agreed to part ways amicably.

We've had a shit-ton of lineup changes during the past few years, but the core lineup had remained the same for years. Dimmu, Zack and myself. Now that I was by myself, I felt that continuing as Sirakh was corny. Besides, I always hated the name. We just couldn't come up with anything better at the time. Honestly, I had this backup plan since the fall of '23 just in case Sirakh broke up and I had named it Deadlight District. Basically the direct follow-up to Sirakh musically speaking.

The new band consists of four members, whom I'll reveal when the time comes. We're heading to the studio to record our "first" single in July. I hope to hear from you guys when we finally return.
