entry n.17 - unpopular opinion time !!

When it comes to fashion trends that I see mostly on media, one that I've come to dislike the most are the skim dresses. Like, they are the epitome of "meh", they are so dull and bland that I can't even describe ..them . They lack personality and all the qualities of a dress that I can think of, tbh whenever I think of basic, the skim dress immediately comes to mind. I just don't see the appeal of them tbh, what makes matters most is that the fabric used when making the dress, it just feels more like an extremely long shirt rather than a dress. I get that it's supposed to be casual wear, but in my personal opinion I think there are more flattering alternatives.
