i feel kinda bad?

my boyfriend [now ex] was dry,didnt want anyone to know about us...yet he told his sister and friends but didnt want me telling mine .

 before in our talking stage hed never stop sending texts and would always talk to me but once we began dating in march? he rarely spoke a word unless he wanted to,so i decided to just call it quits....he was childish and i was too mature,i wanted something serious...he wanted the idea of a girlfriend but nothing more.

was i in the wrong?
