🌙 Magical Origins II - The Dark World (entry I)

Greetings, those who came across my spacehey blog. The vote from my discord server (link here as always) was to talk about something from my homeworld. So today I'll talk about some basics I remember.

I grew up rather isolated, so there's much I'm missing.

In the Dark World, there existed many interesting creatures. The world istelf was cloaked in perpetual Twilight half the year, and total darkness the other half. The beings that thrived there adapted to that environment. An example of this were our sentient and sapient race of people, the Umberians. We were the dominant creature in the dark world, and were very similar to humans. We looked similar, exept we had more pointed ears (not long however like an elf or witchatopian like Willow), eyes fine turned to see the darkness, and powerful legs for ambushing in the dark. They could be plantigrade or digitigrade, depending on where you heiled from. It's also possible to grow horns. I believe some reincarnated here, so it's possible even you, reader, could be Umberian. (If that's the case I'm personally so sorry for my actions as monarch)

Our other animals were similar to the ones on earth, exept generally more hostile and sometimes with added horns or wings. Everything, even the Plants and animals, was infused with dark mana.

The Umberians mainly settled in the valley south of the great Mt. Puratua (translation into English based on pronunciation) because of the good soil from the volcano. The capital was the great city Nexora. That's technically where I grew up, but I didn't leave the palace much.
