i made my mother cry

i showed her the song "i wish you were here" by incubus and she started sobbing while reading the lyrics to me like a poem. i felt my heart drop to my ass because i felt bad for making her cry

for reference, she lives like on the other side of canada (i moved into my friends house at 16) and shes been heart broken since adoufilsjg but then again it was kinda needed in my case cuz she wasnt really,,, supportive for mental health and i wouldve been dead by now if i moved out there, so
