The current state of this site is fucking appalling. It's deranging further and further into a cesspit of gore, callouts, threats, assholery.
Don't y'all even remember what this site is for?
This site is for BLOGGING. Look, I know some people need to get called out but the fact its clogging up literally every crevice of this site is just so annoying. I cant even search the new blogs without seeing spammed death and rape threats to literal children, which is genuinely disgusting. Why, out of all sites, is this the one that has literal columbiners and edgelords? If you want to spam gore, go on rotten.com or any other gore site still around. This is literally a fucking myspace clone, why here? Mods need to do their fucking job because I'm tired of this shit. Stopping layouts has helped a little but you might as well get rid of the cool new people section and stop people from blogging atp because it's ten times worse. People can still share layouts in private discords and IM. I know this has been repeated by everyone and their mom at this point but god it needs to be said.
Jesus fucking Christ, this site is doomed.

ppl don't listen though, even if we're mad about this the only with the power of blocking these ppl are the mods, ofc this is not a big site or company so I wouldn't blame it on them, the only thing we can do is wait and hope they set up a reasonable filter or just check blogs
tbh I wouldnt mind like a public blacklist.

Agreed, I JUST joined and I've already seen someone blaming CHILDREN for getting groomed. I'm all for not having heavy moderation, as I think it makes things less enjoyable and like your walking on eggshells but still. There should be a fucking line. Posting gore, cp, death threats and whatever denegenrate shit is just, awful. I joined this site to make friends, blog and generally have a good time. Instead I'm seeing assholes saying and posting deplorable shit.
I think I saw that post too. I joined a few months ago via a friend and didn't start using til now bc procrastination..i felt super weird looking at that post like I get not wanting to be commercialized but I don't think that's an excuse to be deplorable without any consequence.

honestly posts like that are the only ones i see when i go in the blogging sections and tbh it sucks, i just want to see what ppl are getting up to,if i wanted to see a sea of call outs and gore, i'd use twitter, and as for the layouts thing, i'm starting to think they'd never bring them back, it seems like forever and they're still not reopened.....i just hope that i'm wrong on that last one

tbh wasn't myspace filled with this type of stuff? genuine question I never got to experience prime myspace 3: Im honestly want to experience what the 2000's was like since I was never able to I was like 1 or 2 during that time and I LOVE the 2000's and I want to experienced what I missed. I use social media to escape my actual life since it's a hell hole of bordem and verbal, sometimes physical, abuse.
I used Myspace in its peak and never encountered gore.

I feel the exact same way :O I haven't seen anything nasty thank goodness, my blogs are weird and unsettling for sure, but blatant gore is pretty bad. I think the site is doing okay personally if it's getting so much negative attention LOL
