Saw Poetry and Greek Mythology on a profile and it reminded me of this.

So here's a poem I wrote FOREVER ago about Icarus <33

It kinda sucks but whateverrrrrrr....

ICARUS 

Spread his wings and took to the sky

He was drawn to Apollo's light and flew to high

Wax began to melt, he was addicted to the burn

Back to the ground, he knew he'd soon return

He flapped his wings and continued to soar

Then the boy fell down to the ocean's floor

They say Icarus laughed as he fell

The boy saw Apollo, and knew the sun's heat all to well.

Icarus spread his wings to soar and fly

Then back to the sea, the Golden Boy would die.
