How do i make friends?

Can someone please explain to me how do i get new friends, bc i only have like 5 friends from highschool and that is it. I will soon go to college and i think tht I'm socially awkward?

How do i get rid of that? Can someone please help?

Lowkey goin through the same thing maybe even losing friends i think its gonna be hard either way maybe hang around people you feel comfy or thing they fit your vibe
