working on a mixtape

this is about the eleventh concept I've made for a mixtape. I've cycled through ideas, scratched a bunch of old shit. it's gonna be a complete departure from the stuff i have on my soundcloud (which is more of a pop-like, 'novelty rap' type thing that you hear a lot in modern rap). I'm tryna go for more of a 90s/2000s type sound. kinda like MF Doom and Laya, 2000s vibe with a modern sound. i'm probably never gonna commit to it, but it's a nice idea. i'm really just tryna focus more on my writing. thoughts?
