When I look down at my naked body,
I see the marks of an animal-
hair, claws, bumps, and bruises.
Why can't people see me as such?

I wrote this because I think people forget we are animals too. We're all going to have weird things on our bodies. We're organisms. We're going to have chipped toenails, and be hairy, and warts, and stretch marks. We have soft bellies, and scars. You're an animal, try not to take the human thing too seriously.
